Paragon Cleaning, LLC 

By hiring Paragon Cleaning, LLC you agree to the general terms of service listed on this document and agree to be the party responsible for full payment and communication, upholding this agreement and satisfaction guarantee procedures. Third party involvement is not recognized by Paragon Cleaning, LLC. 

Licensing and Insurance 

Paragon Cleaning LLC promises that it holds all licenses and insurance necessary to perform the work, that such licenses are valid and effective as of the date any work is performed or services provided, and that all work performed or services provided will be done in compliance with all applicable federal, state, or local laws and regulations. 

Deposits

A $75 non-refundable deposit is required to reserve an appointment with Paragon Cleaning, LLC. The deposit of $75 will be deducted from the cost of services provided on the scheduled date. 

Scheduling

Paragon Cleaning, LLC operates between the hours of 8:30am-5:00pm. Exact times of service are subject to change. Paragon Cleaning, LLC strives to remain consistent but due to unforeseen circumstances and varying schedules, an exact time is not guaranteed. Paragon Cleaning, LLC may provide a time window upon request and notify the Client of any changes. 

Paragon Cleaning, LLC is closed for New Year’s Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Day after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve and Christmas. Should your cleaning fall on any of these holiday’s we will reschedule your cleaning. Paragon Cleaning, LLC does not cancel a cleaning due to holidays, however a client may choose to cancel, and fees mentioned in this agreement may apply.

Should the Client skip a cleaning, Paragon Cleaning, LLC may add an additional fee to the following cleaning to accommodate the gap in service. Skipped Appointment Fee:

If a Client is absent from service longer than (45) days, Paragon Cleaning, LLC reserves the right to assess the home and charge a higher rate if needed to restart services. 

Cancellations 

Should the Client cancel an appointment within 24 hours of scheduled time, or leave the home inaccessible, the client will be charged a cancellation fee for 100% of the scheduled cleaning. The non-refundable deposit provided by The Client will be deducted from the cancellation fee. 

For one-time cleanings scheduled with a Price Range Quote instead of a set rate, the cancelation fee will be considered the lowest price range quote provided. 

Standard Terms

The Client assumes responsibility to ensure utilities are in working order at the property on the scheduled date. If the property does not have electricity or running water, Paragon Cleaning, LLC reserves the right to refuse service and declare the job a cancellation. 

Paragon Cleaning reserves the right to re-evaluate your rate at any time. Any significant changes altering the time required to service your home will result in additional fees.

Paragon Cleaning’s technicians are instructed to follow the requirements for the clean they are conducting with detailed work orders; they are not authorized to make adjustments or changes without approval from the office. If you would like additional services performed, please contact our office at least one business day in advance so we can schedule the additional work. Changing in scheduling could create changes in fees

 

Be advised that if Paragon Cleaning’s technicians are subject to distractions that affect our ability to work, we reserve the right to charge for our extra time spent in the home. Distractions include pets, third party, or contractors interfering with the technicians’ duties.

Paragon Cleaning, LLC agrees to keep all clients details confidential and secure all keys in its care. Although codes and/or lockboxes are preferred, if a key is given to Paragon Cleaning, please make sure your home is accessible to us. If your home is equipped with a security system, please ensure that you advise us of the entry code or have it disarmed.

Invoices and Payment

Paragon Cleaning LLC will invoice the Client after completion of services rendered, unless otherwise noted in the payment schedule. The Client agrees to pay invoice(s) day of services rendered. 

Unpaid or overdue invoices will be penalized with a $10 per day late fee. Paragon reserves the right to cancel future appointments until the account is paid in full and may require a card on file to continue services. All overdue invoices are forwarded to our lawyers on the 7th day for legal action. Legal fees will be applied to the amount owed to Paragon Cleaning, LLC.

Payment Methods 

Payment will be made to Paragon Cleaning LLC via Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover, or ACH.

EFFECTIVE July 1st, 2022 – All payments must be submitted through invoice provided by Paragon Cleaning, LLC. There will be a 2.99% card processing fee applied to all card payments. ACH transfer is available for no additional fee, if this is your preferred method of payment, please contact the office prior to your appointment time so we can remove the processing fee from your invoice. 

No Refunds 

The Customer will be assumed to have accepted the services unconditionally unless a claim that the service(s) are defective is made within 24 hours from the date of delivery. The Customer may view property upon completion of cleaning and address any issues or concerns of service so Paragon Cleaning, LLC can resume responsibility for correcting issue if no discrepancies. Request for reclean lodged after 24 hours will result in a fee. We appreciate the opportunity to correct any issues in a timely manner.

 

Accidents, Breakage, and Damage
The Client must inform Paragon Cleaning, LLC of any incident where an accident, breakage, damage to property or theft has occurred due to any act of Paragon Cleaning’s staff in writing, within 48 hours of completion of the Service.
The Client is not entitled to claim any loss for any incident if the incident is not reported to Paragon Cleaning, LLC within 48 hours of completion of the Service. We take these allegations very seriously and reserve the right to open an internal investigation including but not limited to the local authorities, our legal team, and/or insurance. 

 

If we damage anything during the service being provided, we will notify the customer immediately. In the event an item is damaged or broken, we reserve the option to repair or replace the item. 

 

To avoid accidental breakage, please secure items of value that are non-replaceable, one-of-a-kind, sentimental, collector items, trophies, discontinued patterns, family heirlooms, and high cost crystal-china-ceramic items. We request you place in an area we do not service (such as cabinet, drawer, or closet). 

 

Paragon Cleaning, LLC will not be liable for items broken or damaged due to product wear-and-tear, nor damage caused by fixtures that are not properly secured. Examples including but not limited to pictures, mirrors, window treatments, wall coverings, lack of furniture glides for wood floors, lack of scratch covers on the bottom of furniture decor, cabinet mounted appliances, and household accessories. 

 

Paragon Cleaning, LLC will not accept liability for damages directly or indirectly caused by non-standard company products and equipment requested to be used by the Client. 

 

Paragon Cleaning, LLC may use their discretion to deem an item unserviceable due to liability

Safety & Liabilities
In-home temperatures should be comfortable prior to the start of service. Under no circumstances will services be performed in an environment that is not physically comfortable for labor. This includes but is not limited to extreme heat or extreme cold. In the event that reasonable temperatures are not accessible within the home, Paragon Cleaning reserves the right to refuse service and declare the job a cancelation. 

If for any reason an employee of Paragon Cleaning, LLC feels that their personal safety is in danger enough to leave the job site, due to actions by the Customer, or others at the job site. The Customer will remain liable for the full cost of the job.

For Move out cleanings the home should be empty or have minimal items unless previously agreed upon. Paragon Cleaning, LLC may not be held liable for any damages to personal items and has the right to refuse to service areas if inaccessible. 

Paragon Cleaning, LLC technicians are unable to climb on ladders higher that the two-step ladder they are issued to perform their work.

Insect/Rodent infestation: Paragon Cleaning, LLC has the right to refuse service if the home has visible infestation and may require professional pest services prior to cleaning. Paragon Cleaning, LLC has the right to refuse service and declare this a cancellation.  

 

Our Cleaning Staff DOES NOT:

  • Clean or remove blood or any bodily fluids, fire or water damage, or mold. We are not trained in these areas nor are we equipped

  • Clean the interior of curio cabinets (will only feather dust exterior)

  • Provide any pet or children-related services, nor empty diaper pails.

  • Clean/Shampoo carpet

  • Clean Chandeliers

  • Provide stain removal

  • Wash walls 

  • Service outdoor areas

  • Clean areas above the reach of our 3ft step ladder, except with our extendable duster

  • Clean Animal waste or litter

  • Move or lift items over 20lbs

  • Hand-scrub or steam clean floors 

  • Disassemble light fixtures 

  • Disassemble seals on shower doors, ovens or refrigerators

  • Disassemble any furniture to clean it 

  • Disassemble any appliance (besides oven racks and fridge shelves) 

  • Lift or move large fragile items 

Pets

For sanitary purposes, we do not clean up after sick pets or pet accidents.
Please secure any pet that may be overwhelmed by our presence and/or pose a threat, or is likely to try to run out the door and escape the house. The obligation for control and care of all animals on the premises is on the customer. Paragon Cleaning, LLC cannot be held responsible for the escape or safety of pets. 

If pets are present in the home that are posing a safety concern to our cleaning technicians, Paragon Cleaning reserves the right to cancel the appointment and cancelation fees will apply. 

By agreeing to use our service the Client agrees to secure all animals that may pose a threat to Paragon Cleaning’s staff, failure to do so may result in immediate legal action in the case of injury. 

Soliciting Employees

Paragon Cleaning, LLC makes a significant investment in recruiting, certifying, and training only the most qualified cleaning technicians. In consideration of this opportunity, each cleaning technician signs a non-compete agreement which prohibits him or her from working directly with our clients. We ask that our clients abide by this same measure. By accepting our service, you agree neither to solicit, directly or indirectly, nor hire any current of former Paragon Cleaning, LLC technician who has provided services to your home, without the expressed written consent of Paragon Cleaning, LLC and compensation of $1500 for a referral fee to Paragon Cleaning, LLC for its loss. Once the referral fee is paid, Paragon Cleaning will no longer be responsible for managing the cleaning technician, including, but not limited to liability protection, information security, scheduling, government taxes, quality of services, and any other act pertaining to the daily work duties of the former employee.
